Body Found Near Atlanta Elementary School

Atlanta police said a body was found Saturday near an elementary school.

  • Authorities said the male victim was discovered at about 9 a.m. at Kennedy Elementary School on Griffin Street in northwest Atlanta.

    Investigators said the body was found in the rear of the school near a delivery area.

    Police said they later determined the victim died from a drug overdose.
