Atlanta Couple's Pit Bull Stolen During Break-In

An East Lake couple said they are desperately searching for their stolen dog.

The Krols said thieves broke into their home Thursday and took their pit bull along with their TV and some electronics. The couple said they are afraid thieves targeted their dog because she is a pit bull and they might want her for dogfighting.

Neighbors said pit bulls are high theft dogs in East Lake. The Krols spent the weekend posting flyers and tried to get the word out.

"We're not going to ask questions. We don't care about who it was and we're not trying to get the cops involved. We just want her back," said Krista Krol.

The Krols describe Sophia as white with black spots and a very sweet disposition. If you've seen her, you can reach the couple at 404-784-2469.
