SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Sandy Springs police have a man in custody who they believe is responsible for sexually assaulting two women in the north Sandy Springs area.

Police arrested Eric Foster on Saturday morning and charged him with two sexual assaults that allegedly occurred on Oct. 2 and again on Oct. 8.

Police said Foster was picked up and taken to their headquarters Saturday.

They said he was later transferred to the Fulton County jail, where he is charged with rape, kidnapping, and criminal attempt to commit aggravated sodomy.

Authorities said the case will be presented for indictment to the Fulton County grand jury.
