Guest Found Dead At Gwinnett Hotel

Other Guests Heard Fight

A guest was found dead at a Gwinnett County hotel Wednesday morning after other guests heard a fight in his room.

Several other guests at the Allround Suites, an extended stay hotel on Medlock Bridge Road, called 911 just after midnight after hearing a commotion in room 132.

Police found the victim outside the room, with a serious injury to his neck.

"The first officer on the scene found a white male laying in one of the breezeways, severely injured," said Brian Harr of the Norcross Police Department. "Witnesses saw 2-3 men running from the room."

The victim died at a nearby hosptial.

Police said they are questioning another person found in the victim's room.

Federal law forbids paying welfare benefits to immigrants -- even legal immigrants. But a government investigation found that states all over the country are ignoring an important part of that law.
