  • "The suspects are black males, last seen with handkerchiefs over their faces, and baseball caps on," said Lawrenceville Police Dept Det. Tim Ashley.

Police said in most cases, the suspects enter businesses through open back doors. Authorities said the men have a pattern of threatening their victims and taking off, but caution the men aren’t afraid to shoot.

“They're bold and getting more dangerous,” police said.

In surveillance video obtained by Channel 2, the pair of armed men approached a McDonald's worker as she awaited her next drive-through customer, when a gun was suddenly pointed in her face.

The McDonald's worker, visibility shaken on video, was not hurt. The armed men got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

In another incident, authorities said the suspects went into a Lawrenceville Extended Stay and pistol-whipped the clerk before shooting him in the leg.

Police said the dangerous duo is usually in and out in less than 15 seconds and that the pair strikes around closing time.

They also said a third individual may be involved, serving as a lookout for the pair of armed robbers.

Authorities said they are working hard to stop the armed men before someone else becomes their next victim.

"They're getting braver as each one takes place where they're not being caught," Ashley said.

Authorities are urging business owners to make sure their surveillance cameras are working properly.
