Middle School Student Hit By Armored Truck Dies

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Officials say a 10-year-old girl who was hit by an armored truck last week while boarding her school bus has died.The girl has been identified as Olivia Hayes.Police said the incident happened the morning of August 27 at Hugh Howell Road and Mountain West Trail in Stone Mountain.

Officers said charges are pending against the armored truck driver. He has been identified as Brian Gaines from Snellville.
