For the fourth time this summer, a child was injured on an escalator at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport when a boy’s foot was caught on Thursday.

"And there was this child screaming and crying," said witness Malinda Adams. Adams called 911 Thursday after seeing the 3-year-old boy injured in front of her.

The victim in Thursday’s incident reportedly was wearing sandals.

The three other children hurt on airport escalators were wearing the popular Crocs sandals or a similar product.

Airport officials said they do not believe it's an escalator issue -- they blame the footwear. Authorities at the airport did put up more warning signs after Thursday's incident. They also said they would be playing a public service announcement every 30 minutes urging parents to watch their children.
