Woman Shot, Killed At Bus Stop Near Gwinnett Mall

Authorities Seeking Help From Public

Gwinnett County police said a woman was shot multiple times at a bus stop near the Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth Friday night.

Authorities said the victim, a female in her twenties, was found lying on the ground of a parking lot located at 3492 Satellite Boulevard.

Authorities said the victim was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center where she later died.

Police said the victim has not been identified.

Authorities said the circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown.

Authorities said they need help from the public. They said if anyone was in the area where the incident happened between the hours of 8:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., please call the Gwinnett County Police Department Homicide Unit with any information at 770-513-5300.

Investigators are interviewing possible witnesses and collecting evidence.
