An Atlanta Braves fan from Hiram won a colossal lottery prize while fulfilling a baseball dream.

Robert Schultz, 51, played the new Georgia Lottery's 15th Anniversary Millionaire Extravaganza instant game and won a $5 million top prize.

The Georgia Lottery awarded Schultz, an avid Braves fan, with an oversized check for $5 million Sunday at Turner Field before the Atlanta Braves game against the Houston Astros. Schultz also fulfilled a lifelong dream by throwing out the game's ceremonial first pitch.

"I am so excited," said Schultz, a delivery man for a restaurant in Douglasville. "I'm lucky."

Schultz bought the winning ticket at Grands, 1575 Dallas Nebo Road in Dallas. He scratched it while watching TV at home.

"I tilted it, I turned it sideways, and I threw it down," he said. "I started screaming. My daughter ran in the kitchen, and I picked her up and twirled her around the room."

A movie collector, Schultz said he plans to buy a new house and build a media room with recliner seats. He also plans to have a double oven installed in his gourmet kitchen, and he anticipates buying a canoe for fishing.
