Eldrin Bell Injured By Gun At Strip Club Owner's Party

Clayton County Commission Chairman Eldrin Bell injured his hand while firing a gun during a party thrown by a strip club owner.

Bell was at an annual event Saturday at the home of Jack Galardi, who owns about a dozen strip clubs, including five in metro Atlanta. One of the clubs is in Clayton County.

An attorney for Galardi said Bell hurt himself while firing a gun at Galardi’s firing range and called it a “slight injury.”

Channel 2 spoke with Bell and he said he was at Galardi's Butts County ranch participating in a family outing that Galardi holds every year for the community. Bell said he shot a handgun and encountered a flashback. He said the gun fired out the side rather than straight down the range. He said the top of his thumb was injured and he had to get stitches.
