Police: Hallucinogenic Mushrooms, Cactus Found In Man's House

Officials have charged a Stockbridge man after finding hallucinogenic mushrooms, marijuana and Peyote in his house.

Henry County police said they executed a search warrant for a Stockbridge home in reference to an aggravated assault and narcotics-related investigation. As a result of the search, they charged the homeowner, John Wesley Miller, 37, with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methadone, manufacturing of Psilocybin (a hallucinogenic mushroom) and manufacturing of Peyote (a hallucinogenic cacti.)

Police said they also collected equipment from the home that officials said was used for the multiplying and growing of Psilocybin mushrooms.

Miller was released to the Henry County Sheriff’s Department to be booked on the charges.

The aggravated assault investigation continues.
