Bear Hit, Killed On I-75 In Cobb

A bear was hit and killed at I-75 and 285 in Cobb County during the Friday morning rush hour.

The animal was hit on the ramp leading from the westbound lanes of the Perimeter to 75 south.

HERO and police units were called to the scene just after 8:30 a.m. They waited for Cobb County Animal Control officers to arrive and remove the bear.
