Missing Haralson County Teen Found Safe

HARALSON COUNTY, Ga. -- Brittany Carrigg was found safe Friday after a two-day search."God works in mysterious ways," said Carrigg's mom when she heard the news.The search for Carrigg was massive. It included teams in the air, people going door to door, searchers on ATVs, a canine unit team and vounteers. The search was within a 5-mile radius of where Carrigg was last spotted and where she was eventually found.Authorities told Channel 2 they found Carrigg at a friend's house. Officials said they may consider charges against the friend who helped her.Brittany Carrigg went for a walk about 9:30 Wednesday night and didn't return home, according to the Haralson County Sheriff's Office. The volleyball player will be a high school senior next year.Carrigg is now back at home with her parents.
