ATLANTA -- Here is the statement from the Georgia Dental Association on the issue of off-shore labs:

The Georgia Dental Association is concerned about any issue that affects patient safety. We are in the process of studying the off-shore lab issue and any implications for dental patient safety. As soon as we have gathered all the facts and finalized our recommendations, we will pursue the appropriate course of action. The Georgia Dental Association encourages patients to talk with their dentist about this issue and any other concerns that they may have concerning their oral health care. If patients wish additional information, we encourage them to contact the Georgia Dental Association at 1-800-GDA-HELP.
