ATLANTA -- Here is the full statement on the death of baseball player Michael Hutts released by Georgia Tech officials.

"The tragic news of Michael Hutts' sudden passing can not be justified in words. Michael was an outstanding student-athlete, but more importantly an outstanding young man who had a deep impact on his teammates, coaches, classmates and the entire community. Our deepest heartfelt condolences go out to his parents, Mark and Vicky Hutts, and the entire Hutts family. Head baseball coach Danny Hall and his staff will work closely with our players during this very difficult time. It is important that we offer these young men all the support that they need."
