Firefighters are working to put out a blaze at an Atlanta high school.

Captain Bill May with the Atlanta Fire Department says no injuries have been reported in the Wednesday morning fire at Southside High School near Atlanta's Grant Park neighborhood. He says the fire has been contained to one storage room.

The 1,500-student school was evacuated.

Authorities said some students were taken to Alonzo A. Crim Open Campus High School at 256 Clifton Street and the other half will go to a local church.

All parents will be alerted of the information and where their kids are located via a text message system.
