HOSCHTON, Ga. -- Six students were suspended from Mill Creek High School Wednesday after a brawl in the hallways of the Gwinnett school.

One student used a cell phone to videotape the fight and posted the video on YouTube.

Principal Jim Markham said he believes the brawlers are gang members.

"They are thugs. They call themselves 2-dash-1," said Markham on a video message to parents posted on the school's web site. "If they are indeed a gang they will be prosecuted under gang statutes," he added.

If you are going to look like a thug, pretend you are a thug, act like a thug and be a thug, then we're going to treat you like a thug," Markham said in the video.

Police and school officials are using the video to identify other students who might have been involved in the five minute altercation.

"It was a serious disruption of school," said Markham. "Our school is still in a heightened state of nervousness because rumors keep flying around."

There was extra security posted at the school on Thursday.
