Winder Man Charged With Sexual Exploitation Of Children

Tuesday, February 19, 2008

A Winder man has been arrested and charged with 20 counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Barrow County officials arrested William J. Schnipelsky, 39, Friday following an investigation led by an Internet crimes against children task force.

Authorities said they do not think Schnipelsky had contact with children, but the investigation centers around pornographic pictures.

Police said Schnipelsky was the general manager of the Applebee’s Restaurant in Commerce.

Schnipelsky was denied bond and remains in the Barrow County Jail.
