$150K win rolls out for retired Hall County trucker

ATLANTA — A retired Hall County truck driver has racked up in Georgia Lottery winnings. Tommy Lee of Clermont won a $150,000 top prize playing the instant game Giant Jumbo Bucks.

Lee, 64, claimed his prize March 7 at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Duluth.

Lanier Food Mart, 5971 Cleveland Highway in Clermont, sold the winning ticket.

“I started seeing all of those zeros,” Lee recalled.

Recently retired, Lee worked as a truck driver for more than 30 years. He and his wife have one adult son.

“It still hasn’t soaked in yet,” he said. “I’ve got a lot on my mind, so I don’t have plans right off yet.”
