DALLAS, Ga -- Investigators in Paulding County Saturday searched for clues in the apparent murder of a 45-year-old man. Deputies found the body of Stephen Wills in his home Friday afternoon. They came to the house after receiving a request for them to check on Wills' welfare. When they arrived, they found Wills shot and his home ransacked. So far, police have released little information about the circumstances of the murder or who they think did it. Neighbors say Wills and his family had only lived in the Old Stilesboro Road home for a short time. Murders are rare in Paulding, a rapidly growing bedroom community northwest of Atlanta. One neighbor reacted by saying, "I'll be changing one thing for sure...I'm not leaving my door unlocked any more."
