Friday, November 23, 2007 – updated: 3:59 pm EST November 24, 2007

Newnan police Saturday said they had no new leads as they searched for the killer of an elderly Newnan businessman.

The intruder shot and killed 70-year old Bill Williamson, Sr., Friday morning after breaking into the man's home at 65 Roberts Road. Williamson's wife, who was not injured, witnessed the deadly shooting.

The victim's wife told police that the intruder was wearing all black and had covered his face. He shot Williamson in the kitchen after entering the couple's home through a back door.

Newnan police are asking anyone who might have information about this crime to call them at 770-254-2355.
