Crash Shuts Down I-285 Eastbound

6PM UPDATE: All lanes have been reopened. Traffic is moving slowly.

5:35PM UPDATE: One eastbound lane has been reopened.

I-285 eastbound west of Northside Drive has been shut down because of a serious crash.

All eastbound lanes are closed and westbound lanes are also being affected.

One person was injured and life-flighted from the scene.

Police said two cars were involved in the accident and an improper lane change was the cause.
