Search On For 3 Jail Escapees

BLUE RIDGE, Ga. -- Authorities in north Georgia are searching for three inmates who escaped from the Fannin County Jail.Got A News Tip? E-mail Us At newstip@wsbtv.com The sheriff's department contacted the Georgia State Patrol around 11:30 p.m. Sunday seeking assistance in finding the inmates.The men escaped after overpowering a guard at the jail.A search is on outside the town of Blue Ridge.A state patrol aviation unit is also involved in the search.The unidentified escapees are serving time for theft and armed robbery.
