Construction Worker Killed At Hartsfield-Jackson Airport

Officials say a man was killed after being hit by a large piece of equipment at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said the man was possibly hit by a dump truck just before 3 p.m.

He was transported to Grady Hospital in critical condition where he later died.

Police say the man was working at the construction site of the Maynard Jackson International Terminal at the time of the accident.

His name has not yet been released.
