POEM: My Love For Grey's Anatomy

Thursday, February 22, 2007

The following poem was written by student, Molly White, for an assignment which asked her to write a Valentine's Day poem.

My Love of Grey’s Anatomy

Oh Grey’s Anatomy, how deeply I love thee
I watch every Thursday on ABC
My passion is growing with each week I tune in
I’m glued to the TV from 9 until 10
There’s Christina and Burke, but they’re kind of a drag
And McDreamy and Meredith make me want to gag
Izzy just needs to make up her mind
And choose Alex and leave Denny’s memory behind
Addison needs to get over McDreamy
And finally move on and be with McSteamy
In Vegas, a priest married George and Callie
Which changed her last name to Callie O’Malley
Oh yes, Grey’s Anatomy, for you really are
The apple of my eye, the beat of my heart
I hope I’m your Valentine, for you surely are mine
I can’t wait ‘til our date next Thursday at nine
