Sen. Bob Casey said he knows a great place to stay for anyone going to Barack Obama's presidential swearing-in: Pennsylvania.

The Democrat sent a letter to his Senate colleagues Monday encouraging them to refer people looking for rooms to his home state. He even attached a list of hotels.

Casey said some parts of the state are just a 90-minute drive from Washington. He also notes that it's easy to get from southeastern Pennsylvania to Washington by train.

Many hotels in Washington are already sold out for the Jan. 20 inauguration, while many of those left are charging hundreds of dollars a night or more.

There are reports that some hotels in the Washington metro area are booked for as much as $800 per night for several nights before the inauguration.

Hotels and convention and visitors bureaus as far away as Cumberland, Md. are taking advantage of the Obama event. Cumberland is approximately 135 miles from Washington, D.C.

More than 1 million people are expected to come to flood the city.
