Phoenix, AZ -- (Sports Network) - Brandon Webb got his major league leading ninth win and the Arizona Diamondbacks pounded out 13 hits in completing a three- game sweep of the Colorado Rockies, 8-5 at Chase Field.

Webb (9-0) tossed 7 1/3 innings, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk. He struck out eight and retired 15 of the first 16 batters for Arizona, which has won three straight after getting swept in a three-game set at Chicago.

Webb's current nine-decision win streak tied him with Curt Schilling for the longest in club history and is the best start to a season in franchise history.

"That is the way things are falling, it's pretty amazing," Webb said. "Tonight I was real aggressive in the zone with the fastball and got ahead. Early on I used a lot of changeups to get some strike outs, flipped a few curveballs in there but mainly a lot of outs on the sinker. That was the most pitches I had thrown this year and had to battle a few times."

Stephen Drew was 4-for-5 with an RBI, scoring two runs, and Orlando Hudson was 2-for-3 with two RBI, scored two runs and walked twice for the Diamondbacks. Chris Snyder added a three-run homer for the victors.

"It feels comfortable right now," Drew said. "It's one of those things where you get in a groove, when everybody is clicking together it's a lot of fun to play and to watch."

Colorado starter Aaron Cook (6-2) went five innings allowing five runs on 10 hits and four walks. He did strike out six for Colorado, which has now lost five straight.

Clint Barmes was 2-for-5 with an RBI. Chris Iannetta, Matt Holliday, Ryan Spilborghs and Scott Podsednik each had an RBI for the Rockies.

Colorado came back in the eighth to cut the four-run lead in half. Podsednik led off with a single to left and went to third on a throw from Jeff Salazar that skipped by Hudson into foul territory. Spilborghs walked and stole second when no one covered the bag. Barmes grounded out plating a run, and Holliday followed with a single back up the middle to plate another and chase Webb from the game.

Arizona relievers Doug Slaten and Chad Qualls came on for the final two outs of the inning.

Arizona came back in the bottom half for some insurance runs off Colorado's Brian Fuentes, who retired the first two then issued a walk to Chris Young. Drew reached on an error and Hudson plated a run with a single. Justin Upton then cleared the bases with a triple to deep center to make it 8-3 heading to the ninth.

Brandon Medders entered for Arizona in the ninth and allowed the first three Rockies to reach base on a walk and two singles and was pulled in favor of Brandon Lyon, who allowed a chop infield single plating one, while Spilborghs followed with a sac fly to make it 8-5.

Lyon struck out Barmes and got Holliday to ground out to record his 12th save of the season.

The D'Backs got things going in the first with three straight singles to open the frame culminating in a Hudson RBI single.

Young doubled to lead off Arizona's four-run fifth. Drew followed with a double to deep center off the wall to plate Young, while Hudson walked and Upton popped out for the first out of the inning.

Snyder cleared the bases launching a three-run homer to left-center making it 5-0.

The Rockies finally put a run on the board in the seventh after moving two runners into scoring position and stranding them in the sixth. Brad Hawpe singled with one out and Iannetta doubled to center to plate a run.
