Marlins/Reds Postponed

Thursday, May 15, 2008

(Sports Network) - Thursday's game between the Cincinnati Reds and Florida Marlins, the finale of a four-game series, has been postponed because of inclement weather. A makeup date has not been set.

The Reds' Matt Belisle (1-3) had been scheduled to go against the Marlins' Andrew Miller (3-2).

As a result of the postponed game, Belisle's turn in the rotation will be skipped, and rookie Johnny Cueto will make his scheduled start Friday against Cleveland, as the teams open interleague play.

Meanwhile, the Marlins will push back their rotation, and Miller will get the start as Florida hosts Kansas City on Friday.
