Sneiderman was gunned down in front of his son's Dunwoody day care in 2010. Months after Neuman's conviction, Sneiderman's wife, Andrea Sneiderman, was charged in his death. Prosecutors say Andrea Sneiderman and Neuman carried on an affair while working together.

Aimee Copeland contracted a flesh-eating bacteria after suffering a cut while zip lining in May. The bacteria caused her to lose both her hands, a leg and her other foot. Copeland appeared on The Katie Show in September and showed off her new prosthetic limbs and her outlook after recovering from the bacteria.
