Stovetop grill pans are available made from a variety of materials (some are nonstick, which I recomment); and they come in a range of shapes, sizes and prices. What they have in common is raised irdges on the cooking surface that give foods cooked on the pan visually appealing grill lines along with a smoky, grilled flavor achieved quickly with little or no added fat.
