Michigan moves on to the Final Four after drilling the Gators 79-59 in the Elite Eight at Cowboys Stadium.
The Wolverines scored the first 13 points of the game and led 47-30 at halftime. Florida cut that lead to 12 with 15:44 remaining, but Michigan recovered and cruised to victory.
This is the third straight year the Gators have lost in the Elite Eight, the first time in NCAA tournament history that has happened.
Kenny Boynton and Will Yeguete led UF with 13 points. Yeguete added seven rebounds.
Michigan’s Nik Stauskas piled up 22 points on 7-for-8 shooting. He hit all six of his three-pointers.
The Wolverines will face Syracuse at the Georgia Dome on Saturday, and Wichita State will take on Duke or Louisville.
