Dance is a great way to build self-confidence and self-esteem. Children are encouraged to use their creative imagination and are free to be themselves through the expressive movements of dance. Above all, dance builds discipline and structure and is a great way to get children to get moving. This class teaches jazz dance technique, terminology, and movement quality. Hip-Hop segments will have students popping, locking, and breaking as well as freestyling.
