Set in 1980’s Harlem, The First Noel is a musical that follows three generations of a family forever changed by the tragic loss of a loved one, when an unexpected visit reveals some long-absent Christmas joy. It is a story about how a community is healed, one family at a time, as everyday people do extraordinary things to help one another receive the gift of love at Christmas time. Music includes a re-imaging of the traditional holiday favorites in Jazz, Gospel and Pop styles. Plays at the Ferst Center for the Arts.

Christmas with the Georgia Boy Choir

Come hear all five levels of the Georgia Boy Choir as they offer an unforgettable holiday concert. You'll be mesmerized by the transcendent Georgia Boy Choir sound as they perform sacred classics, Christmas carols, and all your holiday favorites in the magnificent sanctuary of Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Buckhead. Accompanied by a full orchestra and The Mighty Mander Organ of PRUMC, this concert is not to be missed!

Celebrate the music of the holiday season in extravagant style as the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra pulls out all the stops to make spirits bright. One of the best Big Bands in the nation is right here in Atlanta – The Joe Gransden Big Band.

Dec. 15 -Dec. 17

Celtic Christmas features fiddlers, dancers, singers, and a harpist from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Appalachia at Rialto Center for the Arts. The show is a combination of Irish, Scottish, Welsh and Appalachian music, dance and poetry.

Dec. 16

This year, North Carolina A&T State University is up against Grambling State University at the annual Celebration Bowl at Mercedes Benz Stadium. Now in it's 3rd year, the event’s mission is to provide the schools, alumni, fans, and sponsors with a first-class bowl experience while continuing to celebrate the heritage, legacy, pageantry and tradition of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The Santa Pub Crawl, which moved this year to Live at the Battery near Cumberland Mall, is a benefit for Toys for  Tots that is also a blast! Picture Halloween colliding with Christmas to create the biggest Christmas party this side of the North Pole! Participants can bring unwrapped gifts for Toys for Tots. Tickets include admission to all venues, discounts at the Battery, food & drink specials and more!
