Channel 2, WSB-TV, The Family 2 Family Project and The Children’s Restoration Network (CRN) announce the launch of a major school supply drive during the month of July. Its mission is to provide homeless children with book bags and school supplies to help them cope with returning to or entering a new school.

“When homeless children return to school on that first day without a book bag or school supplies, it serves as a reminder of how they are different and how they don’t fit in,” said Tim McVay, Vice President and General Manager for Channel 2 WSB-TV. “Our goal is to collect schools supplies for 4,000 students so they spend their time focusing on the classwork.”
