If you're a mom, Emeril Lagasse wants to make you breakfast in bed.

The world famous chef serves as the food correspondent for ABC's Good Morning America. Each Mother's Day, he travels somewhere in the country and surprises a deserving mom live on national television with breakfast in bed.

Emeril was in Atlanta this week, cooking up all sorts of specialities at his Buckhead restaurant Emeril's as well as taking part in a fundraiser. He talked with wsbtv.com about the 9th annual Mother's Day Breakfast contest as well as past contests.

The winning mom won't know she's won breakfast with Emeril until he actually knocks on her door with cameras rolling. In the past, he's hidden out in bushes, campers, and backyards waiting.

If you want to nominate your mom, don't miss Good Morning America all next week. They'll provide all the details on the contest.
