Donations still needed for South Georgia tornado victims

Channel 2 is joining the Convoy of Care to help tornado victims in South Georgia. January tornados killed 17 Georgians and destroyed more than 270 homes. Donations are still being accepted through local nonprofit Caring for Others.

CORE Dance performance commemorates Japanese-American Internment Camps

CORE dance presents Life Interrupted, a production involving contemporary dance, art, and music. The show highlights the experiences of U.S. citizens of Japanese descent interned in America during World War II. The production comes to 7 Stages Theater from February 23-26. Tickets are available online.

People around the world are being asked to join the movement to end modern day slavery. The End it Movement is urging people to 'Shine the Light on Slavery' February 23 by drawing  red X on their hand, taking a selfie, and sharing the photo on social media using #ENDITMOVMENT
