Giving Tuesday: Here’s how you can give back to your favorite charities

Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday are all behind us – but don’t put those checkbooks away just yet. The most important day is still to come – Giving Tuesday.

Giving Tuesday is a chance to give back to your favorite nonprofits. It is the biggest day of giving all year.

Every registered charity in the state of Georgia takes part in the day through the Georgia Gives website. Last year, more than $13 million was raised for Georgia charities.

Earlier this year in May, Georgia Gives sponsored an additional day of giving to help nonprofits struggling through the COVID-19 pandemic. That day more than $1 million was raised.
